lyrics
we waited for the ice to melt
It reveals the garbage on the street
some opted to wait for the rain
or a different or worse disease
the center is so hard to reach
it comes apart in layers
judged by the company we keep
it makes you feel like a creep
when you can't keep a secret
words bleeding out, we're losing sleep
we waited for the fires to burn
can't put it out with kerosene
some wished for the ice to return
i wished to wake up from this dream
we waited for the fire trucks
quietly watched the others work
still unpardoned, disregarded
who will forget about it first?

While the rest of the music world seems to have given up on trying to make any thing that resembles kick ass rock and roll, Mr. Dude comes through with a new record that is reckless, hilarious, nervy and joyful at the same time. Authentically relevant for the times with out being up its own ass at all. Fuck the new Idles record, buy this shit...twice. ryan zepaltas

One of my favorite albums of 2015, Lardo's "GUNMETAL EYES" is also one of the best recordings I've found on Bandcamp. Great post-hardcore is hard to find (in my opinion), and GUNMETAL EYES is one of the greatest examples of the genre in the 2010s. Mandatory listening. Lovdahl, Ian
Across their second full-length, the London post-punks offer up thrumming motoriks, industrial tones, and sullen sing-a-longs in abundance. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 17, 2024
Bodega joyfully celebrate the history of underground rock music with tunes exemplifying the best of college rock to jangle to indie. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 12, 2024
The Minneapolis band add a horn section, a running surrealist allegory about walls, and an occasional nod to the elegiac to their electroshocked post-punk. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 4, 2024
